I got chicken nuggets & my wife got a chicken sandwich. Nuggets were really good. My wife didn't enjoy her chicken sandwich as much as she would have usually as it was supposed to be made plain, yet it had mayo & pickles 😥😑

First off they got iur order was wrong. Instead of giving me an 8 piece nugget I got a three piece chicken meal. After waiting for about an extra 15 minutes waiting to talk to them at the drive thru and waiting for the nuggets to cook, we finally got our correct order. They let us keep the other chicken meal however so at least they did that. Once we started eating the food was okay at best. The nuggets weren't fried like I thought they would be. It's almost like they weren't fried at all tbh. And the drinks were disgusting. We got a lemonade and a sprite. The soda was flat and the lemonade didn't even taste like lemonade. All in all I'm generally a fan of Popeyes, but this one I will definitely avoid in the future.

I’ve been to this location many times as I’ve had to travel to new been for work . Every time I get a spicy chicken sandwich the MEAT is cold, or room temp & about to be cold . The staff aren’t friendly, and anytime you ask for something extra/special no matter how polite ( for ex. ) i asked for extra spicy sauce twice, they slap it together very sloppily as if you insulted their mother . I try to be so kind to fast food workers, as i’ve worked plenty fast food places as a teen, and the way they act when you ask for something is the worst part especially when you’re nice and don’t deserve it : ( . I love that sandwich, but now i get one from KFC since it’s hot there and they don’t bulk cook the chicken for speed . That’s it, that’s all .

My first time at New Bern's Popeyes, or any Popeyes, so I was eager to try dining there. Went with my spouse, and took along our coupons from mail. Tried the "two can dine for $7.99/ no drink included). Chicken was delicious, had mild my hubby had spicy. I enjoyed mine, good texture, just a bit of spice, but pleasant and good with sauces for dipping. Decided, after eating my share of our choice of deal, I would try the long , narrow strips of "wicked" chicken and fries. When I got my order, was a bit disappointed, what they looked like was not what was on the advertisement . I noticed on the flyer and sign in restaurant long narrow ( thin) strips of chicken but what I was served was short, fat chunks of chicken crispy fried, maybe a one biter, about 5 in a paper container, the fries, good tasting, and who can go wrong with a biscuit.. If I was to re order the "Wicked chicken strips" and fries I would still be hungry when finished. This is my opinion only
