Nice little park on the water. Not ideal for swimming as it’s pretty rocky and does have quite a bit of glass, but it’s great for feeding the birds. The view is quite lovely.

Beautiful park. Playground for the kids...lots of benches for the bigger kids....and a lovely Riverwalk. Take a moment and sit to watch the world go by....fish jumping out of the water, and the boats travelling by. Don't forget to check out the local ceramic bears in the park!

Nice Christmas lights. Beautiful setting on waterfront. Benches, clean restrooms. Grass for kids to play. Good photo op with birds & nature landscape

New Bern does a Christmas tree lighting with style. The park is nice all on its own, but the decorations for the holiday added an extra nice touch. The fountain can be found a few blocks from park. The horse carriage did run through the park and I'm not sure if this present just for the tree lighting or if this all season long.
