Apparently quite a bit of locals come here, thinking we were the only ones not locals. And that was a Thursday night dinner! Table are pretty tight together, so no covid ! Distancing possible! Staff very friendly, good collards,sweet potato casserole yummy and sweet. But they screw up my bluefish order of grill vs fried. Still tasted good and at least didn't seem greasy . Hubby trout slightly overcook ,they upcharge for salad , if you pick it for as a side .oh there's a statue of Blackbeard too.

The seafood I had was their shrimp,steamed, I thought @ first the shrimp I had was a tad over cooked,slight rubbery texture . It was one of the smaller shrimp, I ate my dinner, I try never complain, but it’s NOT doing the restaurant any favors. This restaurant is quite popular here, they catch most of the seafood. It’s not cozy, staff can be a little too familiar. I’ll probably go again, slim pickings” around here for choices. Slightly overpriced.

We were thoroughly impressed. Brianna, our waitress, was super cool and our drinks never got empty. Having driven by here for years, I did not know they also owned the seafood market next door. This is now my favorite area restaurant because I love collard greens and fries okra. The outer banks clam chowder was the best I have ever tasted. I could go on and on but, I'm at work as well. Definitely going back. Soon!

Overheard another person raving about this seafood. So we scratched our reservation at another restaurant and came here. So glad we did. Service was fantastic even though they were short staffed and we ordered the fried trout!!! It’s was delicious didn’t use ketchup because the flavor was spot on.
