I would say ZERO but not an option. They basically threw out an 87yr old lady who's apartment caught fire the day before. Red Cross gave her a card for hotel but they wanted to charge 87.00 more than what was agreed for the reservation. Very rude lady or or not!!! She told her to go somewhere else, unbelievable. They only accept druggie to accompany those roaches they have.

After decades of travel (globally) I witnessed a unprecedented level of negative customer service. I called in advance to reserve s room and was told that no rooms could be booked in advance via phone- that it was first come, first served, in person only. I was also told that several rooms would be available within the hour after housekeeping was finished- which was perfect timing for my physical arrival. Upon arriving I requested to see a room (as the motel looked very modest). The front desk clerk took my wife and I to a ridiculously small room around the back. When my wife requested if a larger room was available, the clerk acted miffed and said none were available- and then did the unsoeakable- she said MULTIPLE TIMES: "I think you should go somewhere else" . I replied that there were no other vacancies close enough to my business meeting and that we would wait for a room to be cleaned. After her multiple outrageous comments, and our insistence that we would wait for a larger room, she directed us to ask the maid if any were completed- and when we found the housekeeper, she mentioned a large room was now available. We paid for the room, which should have been priced $25 less based on level of quality. The room and bed was dirty and has many holes on the wall. This is only the 3rd negative review I have ever written in 3 decades of extensive travel- and a first for a front desk clerk repeatedly suggesting for us to go to another hotel, just because we politely requested a larger room. Stear clear, unless you have no choice.

The walls in the room had holes in it. Was roaches in room.. Hot water in shower didn't work. The manager yells if the doors to the rooms are left open for more than a minute.. Takes more than a minute to take stuff in the rooms...

Sharing my thoughts on Loris motel. My recent stay was very pleasant. The rooms and grounds were very clean. The manager Ms Dita was very pleasant to deal with and made sure my stay was very relaxing. I would highly recommend Loris Motel to anyone that's looking for a peaceful night's rest. I will be coming back.
