Such a neat diner - extremely clean and full of character. A well trained staff who are very courteous and welcoming. The prices are average and the food quite tasty (loved the spaghetti- meatloaf delicious as well). We arrived when it first opened and it was packed with customers when we left. No wonder it is popular among locals and travelers. 😊

Drove in off Hwy 40 and was super delighted with everything. No wait, clean tables, Server Anthony P. Was prompt, courteous, friendly and accurate. Blue plate chicken was cooked perfectly, kids meals were given 2 thumbs up. Overall 5 out 5 stars. P.S. my wife and I are both trained French chefs with 20 years in the hospitality industry. This is great American country fare. You don't easily get perfect marks out of the Mrs.

We visit our son in Charlotte, and plan our trips so we will be near Mebane for lunch. This diner is great - good home cooking at a very reasonable price. And the pecan pie - that is amazing!!

Blue Ribbon Diner is definitely a “Ribbon Winning” Restaurant! 🏆 The Staff should win an award themselves!! They are so courteous and attentive!! I always get some type of chicken, the Apple Jack Chicken just can’t be beat! This is our favorite place to take out of town friends. You will never go wrong ordering Cheese Curds and/or Fried Pickles!! Always save room for a milkshake, believe me you will be wishing you did when you see one!! Take my word for it and order a Chocolate Oreo Milkshake, it’s Delicious 😋! If you have to wait for a table it’s probably because I’m here with my friends. Don’t get impatient, it’s worth the wait. Even though we have tried practically every item on the menu, don’t worry, I’ll save some food for you. MAYBE 🤔 😉
