Such a terrific place, The location and the setup are beautiful and clean. The people are just incredible, you can see the kindness in their heart with the way they treat these animals. Because of them I have the sweetest most loving gentle kind, fun and silly best friend in the world! Willy.

Couldn't ask for more loving and caring people to help with my pets! So great full to them for all that they have done and continue to do!

Careful dealing with this business. If a worker decides they like an animal, it will never be added to the website or given the opportunity for outside adoption. In essence, a cherry picking of breeds by the fine folk who listlessly go about their job of caretaking our county’s poor animals.

I believe that nothing happens before 9 unless its am emergency.
First or third Saturday of every month. Call first to make appointment.
Check with the county?
Not very likely on the pig but call "The little Farm in Ojai" . It's a farm animal rescue.
It's my understanding that dogs prefer crate because it's like their own personal space. I don't know about a kennel especially when they came from a humane society. I wish your neighbor luck and good for her for adopting.
Yes they do
5 pm
Call them and ask.
There r several programs for that. U can take ur puppy to the human society and tell them he is a rescue & u don't have $ to fix him but want to keep him. Ojai may b more accommodating, my neighbor got their male dog they rescued done for.$10. Behind Vons there is a thrift store that helps fix animals . They r called Snap. I have not had the best experience w/ some of the older gals there and their snobbish treatment of certain people but they have helped me and do have good info and not all of them r that way. Check it out. Good luck!
They are painted as vicious monsters when in reality, it's a bad owner, not a bad dog. Pitties have a huge negative stigma surrounding their breed & it's truly tragic. Pitties are a wonderful breed.
It's a compassionate care shelter. If the animal is in very bad shape/suffering it will be euthanized. Otherwise, It's a "No Kill".
$120. Pick a different shelter..they are not ethical
Not sure but it will cost less than most other Clinics.
Do you mean can you see the dogs? If so, yes. The did are visible and if you are interested in any they will take them out for you to spend time auth them.
