Great all day activity within driving distance from the Charlotte area. Activities include, river rafting, rock climbing, obstacle course, flat water kayak, mountain biking etc. Once you are at the center Reservations for river rafting and zip lining is recommended. Food options although limited are great. Everything we ordered tasted good (not authentic but good). Giving 1 less star for not being clear that zip line was not included in the day pass and at the park, directions to Zipline area is not clear.

Wow this place is amazing and has many outdoor adventures you can try. I brought my Mountain Bike to ride the 50+ miles of trails and it definitely didn't disappoint. They also have rafting, kayaking, zip lines, walking, running trails and it's just a great place to bring your family for a day of outside adventures.

Found this place on Google, and boy was I amazed! All day pass was $79 per adult, but you have access to ALL activities, you do need a reservation for white water rafting, and the high zip lines, but if you get there early in the day you should have plenty of time to do a lot. They have fun obstacle courses, mountain bikes, zip lines, ropes courses, kayaking, and so much more, even yoga! Such an amazing experience.

One of the best places in the Charlotte area. They have something for everyone to enjoy the outdoors. From hanging out in the shade people watching to trail running, mountain biking, zip lining and climbing. Seriously, there's also yoga and kayaking and I could go on. The facilities are well kept and maintained and the trails are well managed. Events (races) are run efficiently and are adorable. Love love love the whitewater center.

We just showed up at the park for general admission. We had to pick a time slot for the white water rafting though.
Hello Andrea, yes, the park is handicap friendly. Bring your brother that this park is spectacular, on weekends after 6pm they play music bands, and the atmosphere is perfect for a few beers. Good luck and enjoy the nature!
There are plenty of ticket windows all well marked. You must also sign a waiver and I suggest lite clothing and footwear because you will get soaked if you do the water trips
They pretty much rent anything you would use for the on site activities.
There's no fee if you are going to hike or ride your bike.. as long as you bring your own bike. The only time that you have to pay for it , is if you used the equipment that they have. Although there's a $5 fee for parking that you have to pay every time that you go or pay $40 for a year parking
Nothing att all for kids under 5.. Dont plan to take kids under 5..they will be board
