Unlike other reviews I have always had nothing but compliments, my primary care doctor is Melissa Yelanich and her assistant Luis. I walk in with a life changing symptoms, she took matters on hand and fixed my problem. I can tell you that if you need a good local doctor that really cares for the community choose her. The Naval hospital or the VA hospitals are available to me, I choose to come here and be seen, we are no longer residents of San Diego, we now live in Wildomar, Ca.

Arrived 15 min early as expected. Waited for 1 hour before getting called back for a weight and height check. Then had to wait in a room with the referral team (could see all the patient info on their screens) No one came to check on me. 2+ hours had to finally ask someone what was going on and was told we are waiting for a room. 2.5hours later, left without being seen. What a frustrating experience at a new doctors office. Needless to say I switched PCPs

I’ve been trying to reach Dr. Polak by phone, text, calls to office… she never returns my calls. Last time I spoke with her, she told me to text if she does not answer.. nothing no response. What kind of doctor leaves you hanging? Be prepared to wait hours when you do finally get through and make an appt.

Brought my 72 year old mom here twice and both times we were here for 4 plus hours... both times with appointments... zero sense of urgency... zero actual care for the patient... I mean 4 hours is how long you wait at the emergency room... it shouldn't be how long you wait with an appointment. If you can't meet with patients in a reasonable amount of time you should probably book less appointments at those times. On top of that the Dr pulled her mask down several times while talking to my super high risk mother... if anyone should know better I would think it would be her Dr. Just insane. If you can go somewhere else I would recommend it.
