She definitely bent over backwards to ensure that you don't have anything else to worry about on top of your excruciating grief. The prices are also very reasonable and they worked with my budget.

They went above and beyond to assist us in all ways possible, especially, during some trying moments; they had to work through the difficulties and delays due to COVID to ensure she was cremated as soon as possible and that the necessary paperwork was expeditiously completed and processed so that we could carry our mom’s cremains to another state for internment. No matter how prepared you may feel when a loved one has passed away, you are truly not prepared for that final day. This is where the California Cremation and Burial team comes in. Even though we had known they would be the one to receive our loved one, once the call was placed to their facility, their staff was ready and prepared to take over the care and handling of our mother. Upon receiving the call of our mother’s passing, they swiftly sent their personnel who arrived and showed such gentle care when removing her remains from our home, allowing us time to say our final farewells. The following day the staff contacted us and let us know that they had received our mother and she was now in their hands, assuring us that they would be handling her with the same care she had before her passing. Considering her passing occurred amidst Covid-19, they offered dates to accommodate our out-of-town family members time; and moved swiftly to ensure that preparations were made with their travel in mind. They assisted with not just the preparations of her remains but ensured that we laid her to rest where the family would be able to visit at their convenience. They assisted with the selecting of her casket, the online memorial, as well as helping us to find a minister to preside over her full service. Thank you is not enough for all that California Cremation & Burial did for our family, our mother’s homegoing was not only beautiful but a memorable one for each of us. The Lindsay Family

California Cremation & Burial Chapel provided me and my family with first rate service. We worked with Jeanette and she was incredible. She was available around the clock and responded quickly to any requests that we had. I was so impressed with how she and California Cremation & Burial Chapel accommodated our needs and went over and beyond to ensure that the service was special and memorable. During the pandemic, they provided a competitive price that was far better than many of the funeral homes that we considered. The facility was very clean and they offered a virtual option to view the service. (They did warn that there could be issues with the site, but we didn't experience any.) The sound system worked well and the technology for the slideshow also worked well. I would certainly use them again. The only downside is the location. It's an urban setting and located along a busy street. However, it's easy to forget where you are once you're inside. Parking may also be an issue outside the pandemic context as there's a small parking lot. Overall, we were very pleased and had a positive experience and would recommend them.
