Management here is not reliable!! I was a future resident until my experience with them. Filled out my application online, paid the fee, and was told that when the apartment is vacated at the end of October that I could look at it prior to moving in (which would have been Nov 8). The office never did their part of the application process. I called multiple times over the past few weeks to no one answering the phone and unable to leave a message due to the memory being full on the answering machine. The one time I got through, someone was "filling in" for the manager that day and he was EXTREMELY rude over the phone - cut me off when I was trying to explain my situation, didn't bother to take my information to leave a message. I was told "call back tomorrow.... that's just how it is sometimes." Beyond unprofessional! I'm extremely dissatisfied, especially with all of this happening ONE WEEK prior to my supposed move in date. Needless to say, I found somewhere else to live, applied, signed my lease, and had my keys within a week. Courtyard Commons just made things way too difficult and should take note.

its a pretty nice place in all honesty, Derek is a great manager who really cares about his job and the maintenance guy is really nice and works fast. I lived for the past year and some change in the newest building for single bedrooms, they were really spacious and comfortable for a single, kitchen appliances work great. downsides are the building is new and was built fast so some things are a little flimsy and sealant on doors and windows is a little lacking (on the first floor I've had a issue with large roaming spiders crawling under the porch door into the apartment the whole time I lived here. respray your doors once every week an a half in the summer to avoid this issue) and its really humid because its right next to a dam bring a dehumidifier. the apartments are also right on the border of a decent town but an area that is less nice is right down the road. some cops live here so its mitigated somewhat but there are some regularly seeming illegal stuff around if you keep your eye out. Never really feared for my life though just some weird stuff. You're also right down the street from some nice little restaurants and food lion is right there heck there's a Walgreens across the street. But overall its really not a bad place to live. Overall: Management:10/10 People living here: 8/10 Location:5/10 Crime:4/10

I love the area, my neighbors and it's really quiet. would have give a five rating but i was quoted an apartment with newer amenities but when i came from another state I did not receive the upgrades (BUMMER) I really wanted the upgrade so i may only stay a year. other than that my newer manager Derek is super fantastic!! He is so welcoming and accommodating. He assists with everything quickly and never raises his voice. He is amazing!!

Questions & Answers

Would they accept anyone based on income? I'm looking to move into a bigger place to truly called home.

Not sure if they have based on income. I paid full price. There were some people who only received disability so it's possible.
