So let me start off with saying this.. the young man Jalil (i apologize if I spelled your name wrong) knows what hes talking about. He knows the meats and knows how to treat the guests walking into this establishment. He answered all the questions we had. You know how we do a little bit of everything on our plate for the meats and if we didnt order it someone in our party did. I loved the turkey, chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. They still had some cheerwine chicken that was good as well. The collards were seasoned, the gouda mac n cheese was delicious. My grandbaby had chicken tenders and green beans, the only complaint we had was the banana pudding just seemed not fresh for us. The bananas were browned and it was a little on the liquidy side at the bottom but it wasn't bad. The customer service was excellent we will be back to visit again.

If you want to try more than just 1 or 2 items better get here for lunch. Pretty sold out at dinner. Brisket thankfully still available was was very good. Texas style S&P rub 👍🏻Those green beans only so-so.👎 Where’s the pickles and onions? #barbecue #bbqfood

The 'Que was great, the Brisket excellent and the fixings just right. Stopped here on recommendation of salesperson at Furniturland South, after all day shop 'til you drop for furniture. Black Powder hit the spot. If you're ever near Jamestown, NC, do yourself and hungry a favor, Sopt by Black Powder Smoke House and get it corrected.

UPDATE: I have been a few more times and it has only gotten better. Most recently, I got the limited time Smokehouse Burger. Every ingredient in this thing was of the highest quality,leading to an incredible experience. Great textures and flavor, the brioche bun and brisket patty melted in my mouth. I hope they bring this back! I spontaneously went here after class and it was everything I’ve ever wanted barbecue. Tender, flavorful brisket with crispy fries(the fries here are my favorite kind) and creamy Gouda Mac and cheese. I’m from the north so not super used to vinegar based sauces, but these were really good. Must try food in a really nice space.
