The manager/supervisor on 01/28/22 @ 13:16 completely forgot The Salvation Army's mission statement of "Doing The Most Good". Without going into details, there was a lady customer in front of me in line to pay whom it was obvious had a limited budget to spend. She was purchasing a cut-out piece of old carpet. The item had no price and the cashier called the "supervisor" who went on to price it at $5.00 ! To me and everyone else in line it was obvious that the chunk of old rug was not worth $5.00. Needless to say the lady did not buy it. If anyone needed a little help on that day, it was that lady buying that piece of cut-out old rug. The manager/supervisor has NO sympathy, NO compassion, NO understanding of her customers and obviously completely clueless on how much old, donated items are worth.

Experience was pleasant. The staff was polite. Clean store. Cashier was extremely nice. This was my first visit. Looking for items for my event setup. I will go back again.

SECOND-HAND SHOPS bring two major benefits to the wider world: keeping useful items out of the trash systems and providing bargains to people looking for or needing bargains. In South Florida, the Salvation Army charity organization runs some of the best outlets, in my opinion. The one on Broward Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale is the size of a significant supermarket and is filled with sofas, used books, tee shirts, cookware, crockery, and a lot of items that wil surprise you. Well run place that supports the Salvation Army’s charity work.

They have independent guys with a truck and for a price that you pay they will deliver your furniture.
Yes, they will pick it up. Give them a call and set up an appointment.
They r always having half off on something everyday in the store
Wacky Tuesday 50 % off .
If you pull down the street and go right into the store parking lot, a left will take you into the gate of the living facility and that is the drop off. Always at least a couple of guys back there at the truck bay waiting to help people unload.
