Small little park a hidden gem. Opening hours from 8AM -8PM daily but....be prepared on Sundays that the park opens their gates around 9AM as they still manual open them. Update: To many people find that place now.

It is my favorite beach. Very quiet usually. Very clean. Nice place for relax.

Easy reef access, but unguarded, so swim at your own risk. Quiet neighborhood and well kept grounds. Nice family beach park

I've been scuba diving at Vista Park for over 6 years. This large Patch Reef is home to a lot of marine life. But the best reef is beyond this one. I've seen huge schools of tarpon here, green sea turtles, sergeant majors, angelfish, various types of crab, large coral heads and more here. If you swim past the patch reef, there's a nice size ledge where I've seen octopus.

The reef is out a little ways, buy the buoys south of the pier. If you are a good swimmer, you can do it. Don't think you need a boat. Maybe a paddle board, but I think even cheaper maybe a boogie board. Also watch some video on you tube. Just put in snorkeling Fort Lauderdale.
If you have it on a leash, they are welcome!
