They charge roughly $50 per hour per officer and round up. When they stop you be careful not to spend too much time with them. Not only are they unfriendly but they will charge you separately from the court for their time and they will take their time just to rack up their cost. Keep all nefarious deeds off the highway, for if/when you get caught you dont get slapped with 2 seperate but still pricey fines.

I wish I could give Minus Stars. I just got off of the phone with "Nick," needless to say he was the least friendliest person I have spoken on the phone with. I called to request a letter of support to get sidewalks in Riverside County (an area they patrol) and he said "he didn't think they could do that!" I told him that we need to get them because the children when going to and from school are in the street putting them in the street and making them vulnerable to being hit. Naturally, I assumed that the Police would be one of the first people to jump to the chance to help make our citizens more safe. But, that was not the case with "Nick," he still was not convinced that they could support such a thing. I asked if the Lieutenant was there so that I could speak to him. He told me that he wasn't and, that I can basically come in and meet with him in person Monday through Friday. This guy was unfriendly in a position of Customer Service and I just didn't appreciate his lack of interest in keeping our children, seniors, and our entire community safer. That is what prevoked me to write this post! I sure hope his day gets better!

I personally have a complaint. I live in Lakeland Village { lake Elsinore } which is in the jurisdiction of the Highway Patrol. I live in a residential area where the speed limit is 25 mph. I experience speeders at excess of 60 mph at a daily bases. Every morning and every evening, and various times throughout the day, every day ! I have filled numerous complaints with the Highway Patrol in Temecula Ca. which covers my area. They take my complaint, and insure me that the watch commander will get it and have an officer in the area contact me when he is in the area. Then that is the end of it, I never hear anything. Or do I ever see the problem dealt with. I am just wondering if there has to be a major accident, or child has to be killed before something is done. Like I said I have complained numerous complaints, and feel they are ignored. So I am simply writing this review, trying to get some results....And will gladly write a positive review if this problem is dealt with. Thank You for reading....

CHP's Tow Company is the worlds greatest SCAM artist. On 5-19-14 son was in an accident, car was towed by Yucaipa Tow in Temecula. Went to yard to retrieve belongings and car if possible, was told $250.00 for 30 days until decide what to do with car. I asked at least 5 times for something in writing stating the 30 days/250.00.They said they don't have anything in writing. I asked if we could sign pink slip over to them in exchange for tow charges, they said no. Arranged for junk man to pick up the car and pay $225.00 to the tow yard towards the cost of towing. That would leave only $25.00 for us to pay the difference to Yucaipa Tow. They refused and raised the price to $500.00 plus $50.00 a day. So nothing in writing, in fact, refused it. Yucaipa Tow got $250.00 plus our car. Very unethical business practices. We have had AAA towing and could have towed for free, however, was very tramatic having our son in the hospital with injuries, and were taken advantage of by Yucaipa Tow. I called the main office and spoke to the manager, who just got off the phone with the tow yard in Temecula. She would not help or explain either. This puts a very bad light on the CHP on who they use for Venders for such things
