At the VSO you may request the form that verifies your veteran status for the DMV to add the veteran designation on your drivers license. You will need your DD-214 as proof of your military service. To answer your question, you need to go to the big VA hospital to see if you qualify. They will ask if you are boots on the ground in Vietnam. Also they will check your income. I just took a Navy veteran to the Loma linda VA hospital and they denied him because of his income. In order to get services you have to file for a disability. Agent Orange, diabetes, cancer, PTSD etc.
