Hello Mr. Bouchard While our office does not provide this service, I can refer you to the Veterans Service Office (VSO) in Santa Ana. At the VSO you may request the form that verifies your veteran status for the DMV to add the veteran designation on your drivers license. You will need your DD-214 as proof of your military service. As the VSO is a separate entity and not a part of our organization, the information I have provided may not be up to date. Consequently, I would suggest contacting the VSO directly to verify the information I have provided. Veterans Service Office 1300 S Grand Ave B, Santa Ana, CA 92705 Phone: (714) 480-655
Dear Ma'am, Our office does not have access to military service records, however, we can provide you with information on obtaining this form through other avenues. You may obtain a copy of your DD214 via web request or in person at the appropriate Federal Building. Web request: The website https://www.archives.gov/ can assist with service records such as the DD214. Click on the link that says "Veterans' Service Records" and follow the instructions. In person: Previously, veterans have informed us that they were able to acquire a copy of their DD214 at the Federal Building in Downtown Los Angeles. As this is a separate agency, we are unable to provide up to date information regarding this process. We recommend contacting the agency personally. Their contact info per a web search is as follows: https://www.gsa.gov/about-us/regions/welcome-to-the-pacific-rim-region-9/buildings-and-facilities/california/federal-building-11000 Federal Building 300 N Los Angeles St, Los Angeles, CA 90012
At this location, unfortunately not. However, we can refer you to the Long Beach VA Medical Center where they do provide this service. Their address is: 5901 E 7th St, Long Beach, CA 90822. Please visit building 126, and on the left side after you enter there is a department that should be able to assist you with a Veterans ID card. For the most up-to-date information regarding this inquiry your best option is to contact the VA medical center directly at (562) 826-1000 where they may be able to better serve you.
Please call our office at 714.776.0161.
To answer your question, you need to go to the big VA hospital to see if you qualify. They will ask if you are boots on the ground in Vietnam. Also they will check your income. I just took a Navy veteran to the Loma linda VA hospital and they denied him because of his income. In order to get services you have to file for a disability. Agent Orange, diabetes, cancer, PTSD etc.
Main VA hospital, only if you qualify for disability benefits. They wont issue one if you are a veteran. Go to the OC Veterans Department and get your veterans card. You need DD 214 and fill out a form. I just took a veteran friend of mine to get his.
