She never did.he woke up in pain this Am we head to emergency on Iris.got here at 8am tests were done its 1;11pm still have not seen a Dr.very disappointed w Kaiser.this could of been avoided if primary care would of followed up. Family must wait outside. Its super hot.they have a big fan and let you use restroom inside. This is an all day wait. I know they do what they can but when Do Not do their job like following up.it not right. KAISER only till Dec 2022. We were thinking of getting Kaiser medicare no way bad experience

My family and I recently moved from LA County to the Inland Empire. Switching Kaisers during the third trimester of my pregnancy has definitely been a journey.. Everything is a LOT more lax over here and doesn’t make you feel like a patient, more like a number. Front desk staff comes off as if you’re an inconvenience. I have only had 1 other amazing midwife, who was there for all three of my boys’ deliveries at the Downey location. She set the standard for my expectations in a midwife. For the midwife I was assigned here.. there was no connection. Our meeting was 5 minutes. Didn’t get to see the baby, only heard the heartbeat. Can’t even tell you the measurements of my baby, she didn’t say. Knowing I was a transfer- new to this location, she instructed me to go get lab work done and asked if there were any pregnancy related questions while walking out of the door. I decided just to figure it out on my own, not wanting to keep her from whatever needed her time more. The lab was very busy (1.5 hour wait) for being 9 am. The phlebotomists were nice and interactive with the patients! Overall, disappointed with Kaiser. Ever since the pandemic, the attitudes of most staff in hospitals have severely shifted from “wanting to help people” to giving a cold shoulder. I mean, that’s the field you chose to go to school for and make a career in. Makes you wonder if that’s the same type of care they’d like to receive for themselves or their family. Can’t wait to switch from Kaiser after baby 4 is born.

My wife had 2 kids at this kaiser and the first kid everything was great because my wife wasn't literally about to give birth as we arrived but the second 1(the reason while I'm writing this) the doctors and nurses were amazing.. BUT! Security was trash and the people in the front desk were trash . Had the baby 1 hr after I found my own wheelchair and basically pushed the front desk out the way

I've been meaning to write this review for a long time now- I delivered my first child at this hospital. I was in labor and delivery for a total of about 4 days. One of the midwives I had, I wish I could remember her name-she was AMAZING! I couldn't say enough good things about her. Even when she wasn't assigned to me anymore she came to check in to see how I was doing. She was the only midwife I had who actually showed that she cared this much and I really did appreciate it!! There was construction going on in the building the entire time we were there which was very annoying, however, this is not my biggest complaint. After I had my baby they pretty much threw the lactation consultant at me. I was planning on breastfeeding through my entire pregnancy but the lactation consultant I had-can't remember her name either(she had very short hair)-was so incredibly rude and made me feel terrible. Let's keep in mind, I was a first time mom filled with emotions and worry-at one point during her visit with us my baby was having trouble clearing her airways and the consultant rudely pointed to the bulb syringe and told me to use it. I told her that I had never used one and was nervous that I wouldn't know how. She looked at me and rolled her eyes so hard. I knew she was judging me by the look on her face. She then came and used it on the baby and walked away. A few days later, when I had a follow up appointment with my Dr. They called a lactation consultant in since I was having issues breast feeding. IT WAS THE SAME WOMAN! I explained how I was having issues and wasn't producing enough-my daughter was losing weight due to it-and she says "I knew from the minute I saw you that you wouldn't be able to produce." This lady-I still think about her and get so angry at the fact that she not only treated me this way and made me feel so small during one of the emotionally hardest times of my life, but probably treats every other scared first time Mom this way and makes them feel like they're failing when in reality, they have no idea what they're doing and should have someone there(like the amazing midwife I had for that short period of time) to support them. My daughter is now 5 and happy and healthy. The 2 stars are for the midwife-if it wasn't for her I would rate negative. UPDATE: Since posting this review the facility has reached out and informed me that this lactation consultant is no longer with them. I am hoping this is the case for the sake of all future patients. I do appreciate the apology from the facility as well.
