The biggest problem with this course is the employee Andrew... he's childish, rood, and doesn't know how to deal with customers. He should not be running a course by himself. He lacks the maturity to deal with customers. He was mad that we went off 30 min before twilight hours began even though the first tee was open. There was an issue with this the night before where we were kicked off at 8 pm and couldn't finish, even though there was plenty of light left. He only charged me for 9 because of this but then complained to us afterwards saying we played more then we payed for... "you stole golf" were his exact words. After going back and forth with him about inconsistencies in the twilight starts time and end times he managed to say goodbye with his middle fingers! Nice way to run a golf course.... I know Sunset GC will be taking alot more of my money in the future! I will never step foot on this course again, do not waste your time or money, there are better courses!

Dauphin Highlands has become my favorite golf course bar none. Play can be slow at times but not by much (4.5 hours is the longest I’ve ever played). The staff is very friendly (Jimmy is the man!), the course is well manicured, the fairways are firm and greens are in my opinion the largest and best within a 50 miles radius. I started golfing in May and this was one of the the first challenging courses I played. Since then I’ve played 72 rounds to include Deer Valley, Four Seasons, Highlands of Donegal, Rich Valley, Colonial, Spring Creek, manor Golf Club, Hidden Valley, Rich Maiden, Royal Manchester, Blue mountain (a few others), and by far Dauphin in my opinion when including tee time availability, price, and course conditions has been the best. Playing here frequently has allowed me to play many different lies/situations and improve my game. I generally score about 7-8 strokes less on any other courses, which I believe results from playing the different situations here. I do hold a “GIM” membership and believe it is 100% worth it. If Dauphin offered a membership similar to their GIM program where you could pay monthly I would join on the spot (would definitely stand out from any other course). All in all this is an amazing course and outside of Four Seasons, I don’t see any other golf course that comes close. If you live in the area and have second guessed about coming to Dauphin Highlands…..you’re missing out.

Very nice course but pace of play is slow on weekends.

I stopped here on my way through town to play. Good design with some views and elevation change. Biggest challenge will be putting the greens as things are open off the tee. 16 is the only hole that felt forced onto the land. Taking a star away because of the condition of four greens. Hopefully with some better weather the maintenance crew can get the conditions going in the right direction. Decent value otherwise.

Very limited. Hot dogs, sausages, snacks. They do not have a restaurant.
Looking at around $35 to $45 for 18 holes with cart.
