They’re usually helpful but every time I call concerning my medical insurance or my son’s it never fails to get sent to voicemail and never get a returned call. 😔 I hate this insurance but all I can afford 🤷🏽‍♀️

I have been there multiple times and every time they would tall me something different. The first time I am told if I had $3,000 in medical bills I would get Medicaid. When I show up with medical bills to prove that I was told that it was not enough. I was also told that trip that as soon as I got my medicare card to come in and they would start the process of N.C. paying the deductible. I went in when I got the card at the beginning of August and they filled out the paperwork. I was told it takes some few months to process, but it would be done by the time medicare kicked in, in October, so I would not lose any money from my disability check. It is now almost February and still no help. I was told by this office in October it was a social security problem. I went to social security and they said it takes 3 months for them to process. That is a total of 5 months, it has now been almost 7. I have called several times and received no answer from my caseworker at Burgaw social service. Very unhappy.
