Absolute waste of time. Slowest, least motivated staff who show disdain and passive aggression toward donaters. Abuse for $50. Avoid.

They denied me access because of my cardiac alert service dog saying that since they manufacture I can't have her in here. However it states on the website that I can have my service dog in here. They are rude and I will be reporting them to the ada for discrimination against my service dog and disability.

Im a first time donor standing at the reception desk and not one person has acknowldeged the 3 of us. Its been a half ahour. I should not have to call the facility, interupt a screener or stop an employee to be acknowlded and helped. One of the donors just walked out. This is ridicoulous. Your front sign says " We want you to have a positive doner experience". Really cause this isnt positive at all!!! Do u want my help or not?

I see a lot of unkind reviews. Yes at times the wait is long but they are understaffed. If you have somewhere to be then don't go in. Sometimes you might get a cranky staff member but they might be having a bad day. After all they put up with people who go in and don't have the time to be there and doing their best to get you in and out. Plasma donation is different every time. Show some compassion for the staff they are doing their best.

You don’t need to make an appointment. You just show up and say you’re a new donor and they have you watch a consent video and get a physical done. Then if you’re eligible and go through the registration process they will take you to the front of the line for screening and then donating. They have a rule that you cannot go more than 2 times a week I believe and the amount they pay you is according to the new donor payouts. Usually $100 first few times you go. Then they go down but can go up again if you donate regularly.
Yes they only test for cocaine Heroin and meth
Closed at 4pm for new years eve
If you haven't donated in 6 months or more you would be a "new" donor again(and get the new donor fees!). While you are still retained inn the system for many years, if you are a new donor again you would need to bring a current and valid picture ID(not expired), and proof of address. That does also mean it will take you a bit longer that first visit again as you will need to watch the video and have a physical.
They ask about the amount of tattoos, drug dependency, amount of piercings. And other health related questions.
No
A deferral is placed based on a few reasons. One is due to falsifying information, or lieing on the legal forms which is permanent. Medical deferral can be temporary or long term up to 1 year, or permanent depending on the situation. Management based on something you did which is not allowed at the center. FDA which is permanent based on breaking any HIPPA laws. Or temporary based on possible high temperature because you might be coming down with a cold and you cannot donate while sick.
I believe it's 10 on the 6th donation, 15 on the 7th donation and 20 on the 8th donation
I have never been told that they're not taking new donors they're taking new donors all the time
It often hurts for just a second. If any pain persists, let them know and they will fix it. If it doesn't fix, they're supposed to stop the donation. But if you don't tell them they might not know. Also, payments for new donors just changed to $60, 50, 50, 50, 70 for the first 5times.
It also has to be something postmarked within the last 2 weeks. The point of the mail is to prove current residency.
It varies depending on weight and stuff. But honestly i don't know
I'm not really sure but I think it's still $50 for your first five visits it's like $250
They will not allow you to you can call and ask for them to send you a postcard that will work
No. But you do need current ID, Social security card, and a piece of mail from the last 2 weeks with your name and current address on it. If you don't have all 3 pieces you can't donate.
It usually take about 3-4 hours to do everything
First replacement card is free, make sure you ask about a replacement card as soon as you get there. If you wait till you already finished donating you will have to call the bank on the card and the will have to transfer any funds which may take 3 to 5 business days
I don't believe there was an hour change, however, so show up before noon just to be on the safe side.
I believe you get 50 for your first 5 donations
Lock the door at 8oclock. Last donor thru the door at 759. But not recommended.
50 for the first 5 times. Then 25 for the first visit of the week. The money for the second visit of the week depends on your weight.
