Really good Mexican restaurant worth visiting. I was there and had a very tasty chicken enchiladas topped with shredded cheese and specific Mexican sauce called a mole sauce. It was very good and definitely will visit this nice spot again. The service was also very good, friendly and very helpful. And a waitress kept calling myself and my colleague all the time the "amigos".😁🇲🇽🌯🌶👍🏻 I eas today again at the El Rodeo after several months and again it was a very nice visit. Had a lunch with some friends and all of us were very satisfied and like the food we ordered. I had a Shrimp Quesadilla wirh rice and salad and it was very good.🌮🍤🍤👍🏻

Food was great! Service was great! It was a Friday night, so they were really busy. Didn't have to wait to be seated. It was a bit of a wait on the food. They were really busy though! Plenty of room inside. Lots of tables and booths. The layout was very good, spread out with plenty of room. You can't even hear your "neighbors" conversations 😂. Just a very nice restaurant for a family dinner, date, or friends getting together. We took our daughter and her family and it was fantastic.

Wow at the service i received from Oscar C!!! I'm not sure why he was so rude to be and so bothered with me. All I asked was to specify what was inside the enchilada and he rolled his eyes at me. The horchata was clearly powder made and not homemade and it was quite disgusting. I asked him for water and clearly didn't even drink the horchata as I left the cup full on the table. When he brought the check, I asked that he remove it from my ticket and he said "And Why would i do that if I brought it to you?" and I responded "Yes but it wasn't good. Look at it" (as the powder seperated from sitting there). And he AGAIN rolled his eyes and grabbed the ticket rudely from my hand. He did remove the horchata from my ticket but I did not leave him a tip. I do not do that often or lightly because I once was a server and I KNOW what it takes to be a server and all the hard work it is. I am typically a good tipper even if food isn't good but service is. Service will make or break a dine in experience. I came from far away to spend time with my friend and we all came out to dinner and he just ruined my experience. If I had been rude, I'd understand completely but honest to God that I wasn't. I asked for things nicely, said please and thank you. His behavior was simply unacceptable. Frankly, the food wasn't even all that either. It was lacking flavor badly but it wasn't like bad either. If I was reviewing solely based on the food, they'd have at least 3 stars. However, I am a tough food critic so if you're not, you'd probably like it just make sure you don't get Oscar as a server.

This place was so cute, friendly, huge margaritas and oh good food too! Giovanni was great in serving 7 people. Gave us everything we needed and the portions of food were huge with reasonable prices. Didn't take pics of the food but the interior design was so cute I took lots of pics of that!

They did at the old location. Not sure about the new place but heard they are expensive and portions are smaller.
Yeah they have Taco Tuesday, I'm usually there enjoying it w/ my Brother Mark.... I can remember .25 cent Taco coupons, all you could eat but those days are long gone... I also can remember when the Salem locale was a Bonanza in 70's & to mid 80's... Glad it changed hands to The El Rodeo. Constantine @ Williamson Rd. locale ran the Salem spot w/ Tony, Idk whatever happened to Tony ? Me & Mark were asking Constantine about him a month or so ago @ Taco Tuesdays. It's funny because he remembers us coming in there 25+ yrs ago & closing the place down @ night w/ rounds of Jumbo Margaritas, you use to be able to get a frozen margarita made right there w/ an inch+ of Tequila floating on the top ! The times have changed & so have I but once we broke the language barrier & became friends w/ those guys it was every night ! Taught me the value of tipping good & being polite, those guy's took good care of us ! I'll always be a customer there unless something drastic changed.... 👣
