Thank goodness for this group. Over the years i have heard stories of how WCST met a person at the hospital, provided shelter, offered counseling, etc.. I would not hesitate to say that without this dedicated group of people our county would be much less safe. Thank you to you all who work tirelessly to ensure safety for all people. Keep up the good work!

Questions & Answers

Are you accepting clothing at this time? Do you charge the people for these clothes or are they free. I’m looking for a place that gives clothing for free to those who need.

WCST does provide clothing free of charge to folks who seek our services. We also host a one day, annual Clothing Fair at Evergreen Bank's Bear Hotel where we sell gently used clothing back to the public for $2 per item. This is a major fundraiser for WCST that supplies the community with reasonably priced clothing while supporting our many other services. To set up a donation drop off, ask questions about a particular donation, or to donate with restrictions please call Cindy at our public office at 541-476-3877. She will be happy to answer your questions and talk more about your specific desires. Thank you!

Do they take household items?

Karen Conrad | Aug 27, 2020
Women's Crisis Support Team | Aug 27, 2020

We take new and gently used housewares, twin bed linens, towels and new paper products and cleaning supplies. We can not take lots of items at one time due to limited storage capacity, and we are not currently able to take any appliances or furniture for the same reason. Thank you for thinking of us.
