These office people fill out paperwork wrong don't bill your insurance and then expect people living off $600 a month to pay $400 for labwork and refuse to rebill it to Oregon health plan, or anything, and then say they wont help the patient any further unless they pay out of pocket absolutely disgusting. My grandma is just supposed to sit here and die I guess. Heartless people.

We the community of Roseburg and the surrounding areas, Are very Lucky to have the Cancer Center.. For when Cancer strikes , it is a shock and a life Changing desiese, When Jerry was diagnosed WITH Leukemia, Dr. WILLIAMS WAS his Dr. Here in Roseburg. Not knowing at that time what kind of Cancer, The Dr. Had taken a biopsy of Jerrys bone marrow it had been sent off to Stanford, FOR testing in the process Jerry became very very ill. Dr .WILLIAMS knew when to let him go to a bigger and more advanced HOSPITAL!! we were sent to O.H.S.U KOEHLER PAVILION CANCER CENTER ! The biopsy came back 3 days later . Dr. WILLIAMS was right and had predicted this kind of Cancer Jerry Had a T-cell leukemia a very rare kind ... All the Dr.s at O.H,S,U were familiar with our Dr.s At the Cancer center here in Roseburg Dr. Silvia Gosline. Dr.williams ,along with Dr. Brown , they are very respected in the larger hospitals and Very Connected !! . To me that is Comforting! , almost a death Call with Jerry, they started him on a completely different Cocktail of medication. He Gained weight, He felt Good , we got three more years!! In that time , we went through 5 states , 5 different National parks , Camping, Reno, the Coast Multiple times , laughed, went Out to Dinner , and Dancing ect, ect CANCER, puts a different Light on life!! A ND you just never know when its, going to KICK YOUR ASS! I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THE CANCER CENTER!! AND THE STAFF!! I ALSO HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOAT MERCY HOSPITAL!! THE STAFF WAS GREAT! JERRY passed in March 2018. But Thanks to our Professional. DR,s in this Community., we had Three more years !! LOLOVE. Mary g.

Doctors that are arrogant, refuse to realize or research the massive database out there that other treatments besides chemo and radiation are possible, neglect to mention that diet and supplements may be cancer treatment options, or that cancer feeds on blood sugar (thus meaning that a ketosis based diet may be therapeutic) and perhaps worst of all, there's a freekin' bowl of candy waiting for you as you exit the building, sitting next to the receptionist's desk. Cancer feeds on sugar, and you're giving chemo and radiation patients sugar???? Oh, and let's not forget, according to them, they can 'aim' the radiation at the cancer cells that are left over from your lumpectomy (even though they can't see them and don't know if they are there), radiation most definitely will not weaponize remaining cancer cells or make normal cells malignant, and if you get any information off the internet, you're subject to derision and infantilization. Add in that it now appears that not only do mammographs cause cancer (being radiation) but the squishing of the breast may potentially spread a cancer by collapsing a tumor (what part of this is not obvious, but I was derided for even bringing it up as impossible). It's also well known that needle biopsies may spread cancer. I realize that the AMA and MD licensing legally prevents them from offering up or mentioning anything but 'standard of care', but your care, treatment, and advice given at such a time (suicide rates quadruple in the week after a cancer diagnosis) should be thorough and not subject to the vagaries of the profit motive and the AMA's grip on national medical care.
