If I could rate them with no star, I would. I bought a stack w/d a couple years ago. Mid-March my dryer wouldn't heat, I called Fred's to get a repairman out, explaining my new address and phone number and made an appointment for two weeks out. They never showed or called. I contacted them and they were using my old number and the next appointment wasn't until mid-April. The repairman showed up, nearly charged $200, told me my dryer element was out, he needed to order one, and would call when it was in and make another appointment. Never heard back. I systematically have called them for the next several months at least 5-6 times, as well as physically went in, as they always said they would respond, but they never contacted me once. In the mean time, I ordered the part and received it and had a reputable repairman come out only to find out that the element was fine and the issue was something else. So, the repairman miss diagnosed the issue. They have no service after the sale. Don't purchase anything from them.

Excellent customer service! Plenty of stock on hand, no waiting. Same pricing as the competition. Fred's knows service. They not only answer the phone, they actually take care of you. Would not shop anywhere else. Fred's also offers extended warranty.

I've lived here most of my life. Fred's used to be a great place... good prices and service. If I could provide a lower rating I would. I bought a brand new Maytag washer and Fryer set approx. 1 year 8 months ago. It set me back about $3,000.00 because I purchased there service plan too. They worked great until the clothes washer decided to break. I called in for service and they said it would be a month before they could come out. One month later they show up, spend 30 minutes to tell me the circuit board is bad. They say it will be 7 - 10 days for parts. So, today is the 10th day, overall 42 days without a clothes washer and no word. I called today and got the run-around. They just transfer me around to different answering machines and do not call me back. You see, some time ago, they separated the so-called "Service" department from the sales stores, and it is now in Spokane on Monroe Street. But, it is not open to the public and they do not sell parts. So this locks you in to nothing but phone calls they do not respond to. The service technician told me these cards go bad all the time... if that is true then why not stock up on them? Any manger worth their salt could figure that out. So, if you are married, like me, get ready for the daily wrath for not having a working clothes washer. I'm a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, and disabled. Not that this really matters, but I just wanted to provide you a frame of reference that I am a person who has learned to put up with a lot. It takes a lot to upset me, but this type performance crosses the line. I no longer recommend Fred's Appliance for sales or service as they really do not care anymore about their customers... they just want your money, and then after, well... you know where you can go...

As like many reviews of Fred's mine is about our repair service. We bought washer dryer from Fred's, then a fridge and dishwasher. The washer and dryer have been, fortunately, issue free. All the appliance were purchased with their service plan. Our fridge was delivered with mice in it and it started to have issue, first the ice machine would not work, it took awhile to get it fixed, but, since, it was during the lockdown, we weren't terribly concerned. Then during the winter the fridge quit working all together. We could not get service for over a month and finally had to talk to the sales team to get corrective action for the fridge. Now a pump has failed in dishwasher. It was a month before we could get a tech scheduled to look at it dishwasher. He said the part needed to be ordered. It has been a month and a half since that. This dish washer has become an expensive drying rack for the household. I'm going to try cancelling all existing service contact with Fred's. The really unfortunate thing I've found is that when I've tried to contact a manufacturer they scheduled me with Fred's, Fred's contacted me and complained that the manufacturer cannot see their schedule and. Made me reschedule.
