This place is a joke! All those registers are closed and nothing but self checkout manned by ancient people. I had a whole grocery cart full. Stood in line at the only register open for ten minutes and said screw it, I went to self checkout. Got everything rung up and asked for an employee discount, 🤣. They didn't give it to me. Went to put cash in and it was a CARD ONLY SELF CHECKOUT! No sign stating it was. So I had to do everything again. Laughing OUT LOUD the whole time. I told them not to call the cops and get me arrested if I missed something on the scanner. On the way out, the gentleman in front of me with 1/4 of a cart was still at the only register that was open. Not to mention, throughout the whole store you see employees talking, or just aimlessly walking around. I Tell You, Fry's is next. Always only one register open and employees watching the lines stack up. Whose bright idea was it to get rid of human interaction in Walmart.

The stock in this store is always low! It's like they are always preparing for inventory, I really need to start driving the extra few miles to the store on La Cholla. Just maybe the shelves will be stocked with what I stop for.

I’ve had fairly positive experiences at this Wal-mart, which says a lot because I’m not a big Wal-mart fan as a whole. But this store is spacious, well laid out, with a good grocery selection as well as other household. I love that they offer so many self checkout lanes— even when it’s super busy, I’ve never had to wait more than a couple minutes to checkout. Lastly, they’re the only store in Oro Valley where I’ve had luck with online pickup orders; it’s a quick, easy and accurate process.
