"The volunteers in this organization are passionate and knowledgeable about what they do, and it's a powerful combination! The assistant who came to our house weekly was tenacious and resilient--and that was contagious! She drug me through all my fears, resistance, lack of confidence, etc., when it came to my abilities to care for and train my dog. But what a success story! Now I can care for my dog myself, I understand her body language and needs much better, AND she helps me out! The training was so customized to what I needed because of MY disability, and the in-home work is priceless. The work these volunteers go through to make the training successful is amazing." -Dana R., Certified TOP DOG team

It depends on what the dog's jobs is. A toy dog cannot perform mobility work but can be a great diabetic alert dog
We have different ways of taking the training and also have a sliding scale available. So the cost of the class varies based upon the students needs and how the student is taking the class.
Yes, we offer different class cycles throughout the year. Please see our website for registration info. And yes, upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a certification card, which you can put in your dog's vest. If you have any other questions, please give us a call.
