Ive lived here for 17+ years. [Year 1 of the new ownership] (1 star) The office is terrible. 1-800 number and answering machine only. The door is usually locked and they dont respond to messages left even if you threaten to call Corporate. I called Corporate and they were helpful. In the first year I had been lied to, over charged multiple times, unlawful entry, door left open by maintenance, the trash bins are over filled all the time, arrogant receptionist but nice Manager. Thats why I called Corporate when ignored during an over charge escapade. Including the same cost for water as a 2200 sq ft house with a pool ($55 mo).......... [Year 3] (3 stars) There is a new receptionist (It is unknown to me now if the old receptionist is still here). The 1 time I spoke to the new receptionist she seemed nice. There is also a Maintenance guy I like. One day after I give a star upgrade I'm givin A letter to renew the lease for 1 year. The problem with that is I just renewed my lease for 1 year less than 3 months ago.After My rent has doubled and now they want more than market I'm calling Corporate again and again giving 1 Star.

I have been here for three days, so I know for a fact that this isn't my fault. I have seen roaches every day since I have rented my apartment and just this evening found four in rapid succession. I was worried about it when I saw all the reviews saying "bugs" but I figured it was just people over exaggerating or something. Turns out, I should have believed them cause the little pests are everywhere. I am definitely going to see if there is some way to get out of here early because this is just not okay. I even had to wait an extra hour after the person who was supposed to get me my keys was an hour late because they were apparently "cleaning" before I got here. Edit: The roaches were dealt with after I took my issue up with the front office and an issue I didn't mention, the parking lot has also been fixed. From the time I've been here, things have been alright but what people say about how much the dumpsters overflow is very accurate.

Yes they all did and will replace the AC unit if there is any issues with it!
Yes we do accept personal checks from our residents until midnight on the 3rd of each month. Online payments are also an option. Thank you for your question

Yes all applicants will receive a background and credit check. The review of each applicants data is done through an algorithm third party system and takes into account many factors prior to determination.

Marie, Pest issue are always a great question as nobody wants to live with pests! Every property has issues at some point. It is unfortunate but nature has it's way of finding a way in. Toscana Cove has a contracted professional pest company, Burns Pest, that is on our community for proactive measures. Any resident who would like to have their home sprayed is welcome to be on the list as often as they would like. We do require that all homes are sprayed twice per year minimally. Please know that pests of the nature you are asking about are more often than not a result of resident actions. We also inspect homes twice a year to help reduce any persons who are not upholding their cleanliness or creating any issue of this kind and take appropriate actions to resolve.
