I really hate going to the dentist but I truly don't mind going to Dr Torrey's office. His staff is amazing and so caring. They treat me with the upmost respect and kindness. I have what feels like a great relationship with the dental hygienist and the two I have had are so wonderful. They are the ones that keep me coming back to see Dr. Torrey too. The other thing I like is Dr. Torrey is honest even when the news is easy to hear. I feel that he is doing what's right for me and that's a great feeling.

Thanks for the question. We start by a detailed medical and dental questionnaire to see if we can determine and help mitigate the reason for the anxiety. for example if someone has a difficult time achieving profound numbness with dental work we may employ different techniques to help this. we also can us adjunctive things such as Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) or other oral agents to help relax people.
