Took in my Omega AquaTerra watch because it was failing the water test at Omega Boutique. Donaldson's is the only certified watch repair in Arizona for Omega and was recommended by Omega Boutique. I also wanted an estimate for a polish/refinish as mine was looking pretty worn. Donaldson's only communicate by text. If you call they don't answer and tell you not to call multiple times in a row, leave a message or text them. I was texted with the estimate for polish which included gasket replacement. Without going into an incredible amount of detail because I have better things to do with my life than to complain or disparage. Communication is poor, the (owner's wife)/front desk staff or whoever handles the texting is 'short' and arrogant or condescending. I had texted multiple times for an explanation of the process and why gaskets were being replaced if they were just replaced at Omega Boutique. It took several texts, some rather abrupt/arrogant from owner/owner wife just to get a in person reply from Donaldson about what he was doing to my watch and why. I had been told I could pick up my watch on Friday or beginning of next week and when Friday came I texted (cause they won't answer the phone) about when I could expect it and no reply. Texted on Saturday -- no reply. Texted Monday - no reply (at this point I am wondering if my watch is being disassembled and the diamonds being replaced with cubic zirconia). Called Tuesday morning and left a message as well as text to which I finally received a curt reply from owners wife/owner stated "We told it would be ready end of last week or first of this week.... text you when it's ready." No "sorry we haven't got back to you" or "sorry for the confusion" -- or anything similar to customer service. I picked up my watch today with nary a sorry or thank you or anything. My impression is this watch place doesn't need me as a customer. Thus far the quality of polish/refinish was great -- the watch looks like new and supposedly it is water proof again. Here is my take: 1) if you want good quality workmanship (and I have only been here once) and don't care if you are treated like a 2nd rate citizen then this is the place to take your watch. If you have any expectation of good customer service -- don't bother.

DWR is absolutely fantastic. They do tremendous work and are such a pleasure to deal with. Just picked up my Omega and couldn't be any happier with their work. I highly recommend them for any watch you need repaired. I'm so glad we have a watch and service store of this caliber in town.
