I haven't been to Cato's since we moved from the neighborhood, glad to see they are still operating with their humble yet pleasing food, great beer selection on tap, and outdoor patio seating in the back. I got the beet salad on my last trip there, added some grilled chicken to it to make it more substantial. They didn't skimp on the portions for the entire salad- it could have easily fed three people (as a starter), and the chicken came out freshly grilled so that was nice- it wasn't precooked chicken they threw on top of the salad from the salad table. My friends had the tofu banh mi and a tasty looking but messy burger, and they did not have any complaints. Tha k you got keeping the good stuff going, Cato's!

Went here for the first time in YEARS for trivia and it was a blast -- got there at 6:30 and all of the tables were taken (forgot how early you have to get there), but we managed to grab a table in the alley where we could hear. They also have a patio area in the back that provides some great outdoor space. The food is better than I remember -- my friend's sandwich looked great and the fries were top notch!! There was only one bartender and she did not respect the order of who was there first/longest, so it was a frustrating drink experience (hence the 4 star rating) but everything else contributed to a great time.

Came here for Monday trivia night. Place was bustling. Food made its way to our tables somehow. Good beer. Easy going.

Such a great neighborhood pub! They've got a good food menu and a ton of rotating taps. The service is friendly and there's plenty of seating - they've got a cool windowed room at the very front which is our preferred place to sit. The fish and chips was killer (fries needed some salt and pepper, but no big deal). We'll definitely keep coming back here.
