Copper Mountain RV Park

I'll start by saying we generally avoid RV parks, preferring to use state, county, and national parks, or most often boondocking in out of the way places. We prefer the nature, space, and privacy. But we needed a convenient place on our way back to California, and we wanted hookups. We only planned to stay one night but it was so comfy we hung longer. This park is very well run, super clean, has a nice pool, wide spaces, clean showers, and very kind and helpful hosts. Thanks Gary and Lynette.

Great hosts! Clean facilities. Super level spots. Pool!! Came in for one maybe two nights to get out of windy driving. Stayed extra night because it was so comfortable and quiet. Mid-May 2022.

We are still at this lovely RV Resort at Tacna, Arizona. The sites are wonderfully large, room for our 5th wheel, a nice patio and room for 2 vehicles and you are not encroaching on your neighbour's lot! There are planned events and burgers, ice cream evenings, Taco night and this week St. Patrick's Day Dinner! The people are friendly and there are lots of activities, paved roads and a pool! Great dog parks and lots of desert in which to walk! The staff are friendly, helpful and pleasant! This is a 5 star resort, closer than you think to Wellton and Yuma. Highly recommend!

This is my second stay at this park. Biggest improvement was paved roads to every graveled site. Everything is super clean. The many extras offered to their guests is truly a step above many places. Small town shopping and restaurants are 12 miles away. There is a truck stop that can be noisy but not overly bothersome. Train noise is not to bad and the line is lightly traveled. Spaces are super wide and many have a large cement patio. Utilities are easy access with all types in one box. Managers are very helpful and most seasonal guests are very nice.
