Our family has loved this place ever since their humble beginnings in the Garfield district in Phoenix. The burritos are still the same and the tacos are still my most favorite...don't tell my grandma. Best bean burritos and the green chili is to die for. Ritos will always be our family's "go to" spot for Mexican food.

Best “Bean Dip” ever!!! We were so hungry, and everything (Beef Enchilada, Chicken Enchilada, and Green Chili Mixed Burrito) tasted so good, I forgot to take “before” pictures. Sorry! The after pictures, well. . . just imagine a bunch of empty plates. 😋 I will be back for more Bean Dip and to try their deep fried burrito. I promise to take a picture of that!

I disagree with the name including Mexican Food. Not much about this place is Mexican. They don't have horchata... The burritos are terrible. I ordered a steak burrito and I was basically red sauce soup in a tortilla. There was only red sauce and SOME meat. The ratio was way off and tasted horrible. For some reason, you can't get the shredded beef that's used in tacos to be put in burritos. "We just don't do that here" is the response you'll be met with, if you ask. Lack of options, poor service and terrible food. I'm still wondering how they are voted "Best Burrito in Phoenix 2021". Don't waste your time coming here. I wouldn't even feed this food to my dogs. In case you were wondering, I threw it away.

This is a review of the last 2 times we've been here, though apparently I didn't take pictures from both. Overall, my husband Loves this place...mainly because of the beans that are cooked with lard. I like the food too but the service can be a bit slow. It definitely was tonight! The chips tasted like they had expired though we didn't notice till the end when our bowl of beans was gone. Great combo and probably better with fresh chips. This will remain a place we visit when in Surprise. :-)
