Best place for EDD benefits. They’re responsive, helpful and kind. Much better than calling the EDD helpline.

This is actually very helpful office where they resolved my problem fast after I tried to call EDD on the phone and they just hung up on me after I gave all of my verification info.

I walked in and the staff were very helpful. I got my problems handled effectively. It worked out better than trying to call or go online from home

The Government really needs to allow the EDD offices to open back up! This is essential for people unemployed and or partially unemployed due to pandemic. The people you have answering the phones don't even want to talk to us. I can't tell you after fighting to get thru on the line and waiting for hours to get a LIVE person they hang up on me (several ppl) because my they don't know what to tell me because my claim keeps getting rejected and no one can tell me why. I'm self-employed and the problem is that your system is not use to taking claims like this so therefore rejects us!!! I filed 2 months ago with still no answers!!! I have a feeling there will be lots of Lawsuits against the State of California because of the Pandemic if they don't fix the basic problems. Take note of everything and every conversation people.

It would be best to call them first, to see what your options are.
no, closed nationwide
Online on your edd page
Hello, you must be go to online to complete your claim
Fax in your appeal, and then you get the appointment and then you can do the appeal over the phone or in person. You don't need an appeal letter. You can write the appeal on paper inculde your social security number and why you are appealing.
Go to your post office, change address form fill it put a secure address were your mail can be received, then they can send you a new one...
