Visited Sawyers in Weirs Beach. Ordered a small frappe for $7.25 for my daughter. Frappe was delivered with 25% out of the cup after 20 minute wait. The staff appeared very unhappy and they worked in slow motion. I think 3 people were working and there wasn’t much of a line.

A perfect spot for icecream in the weirs beach area. So many flavors and toppings and variety of frozen treats. We wanted to try strawberry Sunday with almonds and coconut but they were out of these toppings and had to get pineapple which was just okay. Also the icecream was spilling over and difficult to handle in the small cup. Variety and quantity was there with perfect location on the beach but tastes just like any other ice cream nothing outstanding.

5 scallops for $14 (only one decent size) and tiny portion clams for $21. Yikes!!!

Food was great, somewhat overpriced but I get it, location, location, location..... I paid $38 for a small lobster roll, I thought it was expensive but I did choose to pay for it, the cashier warned me before I ordered that it would be expensive. Nice vibe inside and out. If we are in the area again, we'll stop by.

There are items on our menu that are gluten free but we do not publish a “gluten free” menu!
FYI Sawyers is operated by two seniors in their 80’s, also am a Korian war veteran still working 27 hrs daily. We are not here to “soak the tourists”. The perception by some “locals” is that we are expensive. We specialize in quality Seafood which is very expensive! It is the menu board you see first when entering Sawyers! The rest of our offerings are very competitive. Come on in and say hello! We do welcome your comments! We just installed a new POS system and will soon be offering a loyalty program to regular customers!
