I've been coming to Bizzaro World on and off since around 2004 to its various locations. It's always been a refuge for misfits and people who didn't quite fit in elsewhere. To me, it feels like home. After spending many years away in Australia, it was the first place I visited when I came back to Davis. It's still the same place I remembered, and I still love it. Now it seems trading cards are vogue and can turn a quick profit, so everybody feels entitled to exploit this local business. Most of these negative reviews are in this spirit and strike me as fairly petty. To each their own. If you love all things geeky and nerdy like comics, science fiction, board games, movies, and trading cards, you'll probably love this place. I hope it feels like home to you too.

Overpriced. Wasn't willing to negotiate prices on MTG cards according to TCG's pricing. Was a first for me. Cool store otherwise.

Went in earlier last month to buy a box of cards. Unfortunately I didn’t notice that the box was clearly tampered until I brought it out recently to gift it to a friend. One side of the box was fully apart and I noticed that it clearly closed with hot glue. Many of the packs inside the box were inconsistent in thickness which is a major red flag. Some were over stuffed while others were under the normal amount of cards that come inside a pack. Many of the packs also showed clear attempts of resealing as the adhesive was not as strong as an original pack. Please purchase sealed products elsewhere.

They have some retro gaming stuff by the entrance. Call them to see if they have what you need.
It all depends on the cards, go in and check the guy is super reasonable
Bizarro hs tons of back issues and the owner is very knowledgeable
Not sure. Never go into that section. There's a lot of great stuff there.
Masks and social distance
They normally do have participate yes. If you check the free comic book day website it tell you of all participating locations. Bizarro world is on their site as participating.
