They say they are forgiving with fighting citations, but when I simply state there was no red curb, signs, or indicators where to pay, I still go ticketed and forced to pay. Now they raise prices??? At this point, the students are going to riot. Why does chapman university have free parking but you guys can’t? Protests soon, guys?

I would not recommend parking on campus. They have deliberately created a parking "system" that confuses the customers, who are mainly students and faculty. Had they cared about the students' well-being and the faculty's service, they would have made parking free for them. But they are like all the other universities in the U.S.: corpulent capitalists. Let us make them go bankrupt! Spread the message!

I don’t understand why it’s made so inconvenient for students to buy a parking pass instead of testing their memory skills. Some days there is a lot going on and to not even have some kind of warning system in place is predatory. Students are here to learn and there are students who commute… if I forget to pay me $3 once its automatically $55 charge every time. That is a scam. I see them commenting back at the logic on not offering passes… excuses. Students should be focused on school. The last thing they should have to worry about is paying a $55 every time they slip up. Human beings make mistakes sometimes. I hope they comment back with some kind of snarky remarks. You’re still preying on students to mess up. I don’t care if you can’t tell our intentions to pay or not to pay from looking at our cars. There are enough students with the same complaint. Do better! At least lower the the ticket price or put a warning system in place.

I had a parking citation because the app was glitching. I could not pay for parking, despite trying several times. I appealed this citation, and I waited for a response. I never got anything in the mail about my citation’s appeal and now, it says I need to pay the late payment price of $110. It’s ridiculous I did not get an update on the appeal to be notified it was rejected. It’s absurd. It is unfair that I’m expected to pay $110 when I was never even notified about my appeal’s update.

We sure can!
Hi Norma - Metered and Limited Time (LT) parking must be paid for separately, regardless of any car pool permit you may have.
Nothing direct to UCSF. There's a direct UC Berkeley shuttle that would get you close. Taps.ucdavis.edu/transportation/shuttles
Hi DW - Although a separate entity from us, the Institute of Transportation Studies is a world-renowned research center at UC Davis. I'm sure that they sometimes do, for the purposes of research, use surveys but we have no way of verifying if the particular survey you received is from them. I suggest you contact them directly to confirm the legitimacy of the survey you received: https://its.ucdavis.edu/about/
