On the surface Primrose appears to be the perfect school to prepare your child for kindergarten. Nice classrooms, great playgrounds and friendly staff. This is a facade that’s masks the true nature of how this school operates. My 2 year old son started at Primrose at Fletcher Heights in December. By the end of March he was “dis enrolled”. In the beginning of February we received a message (not a call) that he had to “cool off” in the office because he threw a tantrum (big surprise from a 2 year old…). After that, we received a message every time he had a tantrum. This was their tactic to document his behavior. It was obvious at this point our son was “black balled” and would never be given a chance at this school. We took initiative to schedule a meeting with the school owner (Heather) and director to discuss what we can do to help our son soon after receiving the first message in February. We did everything including getting our son evaluated for autism and both cognitive and behavioral evaluations. He is not on the spectrum and he is excelling in all the other attributes that were evaluated. My son experienced several life changes since enrolling in this school. We just moved here from another part of town and we also welcomed another addition to our family. Zero sympathy was given to these life event changes and the school showed no interest providing additional time for my son to acclimate himself. If your child is not “perfect” in the eyes of Primrose, they will quickly begin the process for getting your child “dis enrolled”. Per the parent handbook, they can dismiss your child “at any time, for any reason”. If the owner (Heather) ever reaches out to you regarding an issue, it’s too late. Start looking for another schooling option for your child. I would strongly advise you to save your deposit and consider another preschool. After looking at other schools in the area, they indicated several other parents are considering leaving Primrose due to their lack of interest is dealing with children that have a personality that doesn’t fit their “high standards”. The director will more than likely see this review and type a lengthy politically correct response that will try and convince you otherwise. This is 100% how all this went down. Don’t buy their impending rebuttal and fake apology for our experience.

Our family has had a great experience so far at Primrose of Fletcher Heights! Our daughter enjoys the activities and learning as well as making friends! The staff is wonderful too! Overall very pleased with this establishment!

This place was terrible to our daughter who was terrified in her first experience in day care. Our daughter is loving and caring but is attached to her care takers. Our daughter was set to the side and cried her eyes out for an entire day. She refused to eat and go to the bathroom. The people working there didn't show an ounce of tenderness or care to a two year old looking to be loved. We were told they can't hold or support our daughter when they have other kids to take care of. They didn't mind taking our money $300+ for two days of daycare and they took all of our diapers and wipes. They basically asked us to go somewhere else because our daughter cried the entire time. What kind of adult who decides to work with kids treats a young, full of love of baby and make her feel isolated. There is something absolutely wrong with your heart and it is time to question your line of work and shouldn't his place be in business. I Will Never recommend this place to anybody. This is a horrible establishment.

Only were nice to us and our child long enough to receive the enrollment fee. They don't differentiate and do not support the growth of all children. Not sure how you operate a school without this philosophy. I would NEVER recommend this school to anybody. Money was most important to this facility. Their staff were uneducated, lacked support, and uncaring.
