If I could give them a zero I would try calling customer service numbers for help case manager ignore call, emails and covid prevent me from going to there office to talk to someone in person. I see why people give up.

VR&E office - Ashley Whitmore or what ever her name is. The office is already horrible and I haven’t even gone yet. I’m wondering if I should just avoid the headache and accept life outside the VA. They clearly don’t care to help veterans who are disabled and seeking assistance for educational aspects. I was scheduled for an apt which I couldn’t make. So I spent weeks trying to reschedule it. On my apt day I called her an she never called me. I was then meet with a rude email saying how I’ve missed my Apts an how I need to fill out my forms. I made it very clear I had my apt changed and I couldn’t fill those forms out. Even though I had requested a change of apt an got it approved. Ashley went back into the system a month later an canceled my apt as though I never showed up. When I’m all reality. She didn’t show up. So far I haven’t even had my main apt an so far it sounds based on reviews like a nightmare. But then again like all VA run things. It fails the veterans. I was looking and needed help. The vet centers are great an they did as much as they could. But everything ceased the second i was sent here. An since the VA doesn’t have an HR to complain to. The only way to get anyone to notice is by contacting the state rep for the area. Which I am in the process of doing. It would be one thing if I missed my apt. But they failed on their end an then attempted to cover it up. 2021 update: no one ever called or reached back out. No one ever scheduled an apt again. From what I have learned. There’s no point in complaining cause there in no HR. Apparently they don’t answer to anyone. Congrats to another failure in helping Veterans.

No help what so ever I've been waiting since October 2019 with a tooth infection and still no answer from the VA. This Marine has had it with the VA decision making. It's a open close case and they have sat on it for 8 months. Had my evaluation in February and no answers. So frustrating that no one at the VA cares to listen. It's no wonder it's a Dept that is always being complained about. "Still waiting" Jesse USMC

The lack of support in reaching the VA educational benefit office via local , region or on a national basis is awful. Accessing a connection to the website is not valid.The lag time via mail services is null and void. This is detrimental to the veteran and families who can benefit from these programs.There is no rating that would apply, the one star selected is giving more credit than should be applied.

No it does not. Try the state building or city hall which is right up the street.
Most counties in California also has a veterans service officer with an office that can get you and your dad started on this journey.

I'm in the same situation as you. BVA approved my claim on July 22 and it September now. After the due date, I am calling my Congressman to intervene.
If you go to a office they can print the letter. Handling business in person you get better results. If you sign up for Ebenefits you can print it yourself.
