They didn't take my case even though it involves a large government body willingly and intentionally violating civil rights and the US Constitution. If they don't take this case, I can't imagine other bigger one out there.

Yes. Civil rights is obviously political however....there website is typical today's destructive agenda. It is filled with tabloid style presidency campaign, making it instantly evident that what would be an organization that is a manifestation of American values is actually another misleading name that actually is on the same bandwagon that is actually contributing to the loss of our human rights.

ACLU is a great organization that defends the constitution of the United States. They protect our civil rights. They have well trained attorneys. They always need more funding to do their job. Donate all you can.

It's not going to be really fair. I had been fighting off bad physical feelings, on and off, all day. Within 10 minutes I began to feel bad again, and this with, what looks like a wonderful, beautiful Mexican dinner for everyone. I was bummed. What can one do? I gave my apologies, couldn't eat, even though I was really hungry. So, I left. Sad for all involved. They sent me an email asking if I was alright and if they had done anything to make that happen. I thought that was amazing, by itself. I would like to give it another try. They haven't sent me any info since. I'll try again. They are a great institution and we must be happy for them and support them. They do good work and I want to help. I'll let you know how it goes. Good luck to everyone. BTW the attitude that this person had was more of one who was trying to cover their asses. It was so weird I made a little mental note. On second thought, it did seem pretty "guarded", having trouble finding the right word but she seemed defensive. Just an observation. Keep an open mind. That's the best advice I can think of.

Stand up for injustice in the face of injustice? Isn't that an oxymoron?
That's a question for a lawyer. Sorry.
That's not even a sentence.
If you Google ACLU you could get that info in the blink of an eye.
The questions are extremely invasive. Don't answer them.
