This sonic sucks. The stalls are NEVER working (or so they say) and the drive through is always a mile long and moves at the pace of a snail. Plus after waiting forever you’ll probably have your order get messed up. Seriously don’t even bother. Go across the street to chick-fil-a or McDonald’s where they’ll get you through the drive through at a respectable speed.

Their normal drive up spots were closed and only the drive thru was available. I had ordered a cherry limeade via the app as we were on our way to the location, with no idea of the circumstances. Because we were on our way to return a rental car, the length of the drive thru lane was a concern. I walked to the door and asked about my online order and a pleasant young man said they could take care of that for me and then did! I was very thankful, pleasantly surprised, and also made it to the rental place in time.

I wouldn't normally rate Sonic a 1 because it's one of my favorites but this time was not enjoyable at all. I only ordered drinks. 2 drinks. Simple. I ordered a corn dog but they had run out. I waited almost 20 min and nothing. I pushed the button, no answer. I honked no answer. I left. I was really looking forward to my drink and was so disappointed. What if i had been a secret shopper? Never take it for granted. Maybe next time will be better.

ORDER THRU THE APP. BECAUSE YOU CAN PRESS THE BUTTON AT ANY STALL AND NO CARS IN DRIVE THRU AND THEY WILL NOT TAKE YOUR ORDER. THEY JUST LOOK AT YOU FROM THE DRIVE THRU WINDOW

They are wearing masks and gloves.
I have had no issues with this Sonic Drive-In location. Its service is matched with the Hondo Pass location. However, the bad quality speaker system + the nearby traffic makes it very difficult to hear. As a solution, the staff will try to "enunciate", speaking slower, louder, and more clearly so you can understand them.
