Their Billing is terrible..over a year later, I'm fighting a bill. My primary paid their portion, my secondary, requested notes, because it was billed as an accident, in fact, it was a bone density x-ray, St Anthony didn't provide the information. Deny. Secondary Insurance belongs to my husband and it's a Retired Military insurance. He got on the phone with TRICARE and explained, they requested one more time, by now it's over a year later.. well, this bone density was a referral by my Provider at an Indian Health Clinic, which what is left over on the bill, will be paid by Indian Health Services. TRICARE paid, now send it onto IHS. Nope, St Anthony billers and Customer Service now need to know my 3rd insurance info. I have no 3rd insurance, just send the bill to IHS. Omg what a nightmare. St Anthony, you had or have the referral on file, you pride yourself with working with the tribes over the years, it would look like you would also train your employees what IHS is and what they are not. I have worked in medical and in Insurance companies, such as BXBS, ODS/Moda for over 20 years, even they took the time to understand and train their employees what IHS is and who they are. I have a lot to say , about the treatment I have witnessed, in your establishment, towards insurance that people have and don't have. Regards, Michelle DeRocher

This is the worst place to go if you are a non christian, woman of color, on state insurance…that’s me! I was in pain for HOURS. I started out at the clinic and was SENT HOME still in pain to wait for test results. 2 hours later I had to go to the ER. I was openly sobbing in the waiting room and no one helped me. I waited for another 2 hours before I was finally taken by a friend to Hermiston. And THERE is where I was finally taken seriously and properly treated. Good Shepherd was amazing. I had pain relief in less than an hour, they took out my iud like I asked without question, and they found my kidney infection which was why I was DYING. And I could have died if I had stayed at St. Anthony. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Unless it is a life or death scenario, I would recommend you go elsewhere. Even then, weigh your options. Their ER is the worst I have ever encountered, staffed by rotational doctors who have misdiagnosed, left us in rooms for hours, refused to pull giant splinters from fingers, and belittled me personally for bringing accurate data to their attention. Their Urgent Care is useless. X-ray took overnight for an ankle one time. One time I was turned away because high blood pressure is not something they treat in the urgent care, even if my dentist told me to go because it was too high for treatment. One time they told my daughter, while being treated for severe dizziness and illness, that they thought she was pregnant; which she denied. She took a pregnancy test anyway, and it came back negative, and the representative stated, "Well, I don't believe these test results." Another doctor at another facility ultimately diagnosed her issue with little effort, (did not post the results as it is not my place to share that information). Waking up from surgery here was awful, although the staff were very kind. Waking up from surgery in Hermiston was no issue, especially by comparison, and overall was a far better experience. It's a shame, there are a lot of good doctors and great surgeons in the area. It's just not the best environment. I was told that they stopped using the intravenous cannula that didn't bleed as much (the person described as the, "Better Ones") for cheaper ones that bleed more and cause more bruising. I presume as these are not life threatening conditions they did this as a cost savings, but I don't know that for sure. It could be a simple symptom of a supplier change. Whatever... Maybe that is none of my business. UPDATE: Scholosis x-rays on 15 year old: Summary of Charges 320 RADIOLOGY DIAG GENERAL $2,221.00 Source: Multiple trips (greater than 5) in our family resulting in 100% misdiagnosis overall, and a substantially higher cost per incident than Hermiston's Good Shepherd , or Kadlec Health in the Tri-Cities.

Heidi in family clinic/urgent care is the rudest employee I have ever dealt with. Cuts you off when you talk, think she can give medical advice about my medication when she isn’t a doctor, won’t let me change doctors when I ask and laughs when I question anything she says. TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES or better yet, get rid of her.

Who is this?
HI Mary- You can see updated numbers for our area on the Umatilla County Health Department page: http://www.co.umatilla.or.us/health/COVID_Region9_Dashboard/
The ER is always open to help people in need. The town of Walla Walla also has urgent care and two express cares for smaller needs as well.
Yes. That can be a Kidney problem. I hope hes ok because this question was a week ago.
