Horses constantly are rearing, taking off and bucking kids off. (They’ve put blinders on one of their horses multiple times so kids can ride it even though it still isn’t safe) They have kids running into other boarders and horses because of the lack of instruction and lack of control. I’ve seen more kids fall off from this program in the last year than I have ever seen. Most of their instructors are careless and do not teach basics. Kids under 18 ride with no helmets and harsh hands not to mention the horses are worked into the ground. There are many other programs and places to take lessons that are safe and care for their horses not just money. This one is not worth the money or time.

Not pleased with the service. The owner started off with strong communication, but as time went on we were nothing but a monthly check. She signed our daughter up for a lease without ever even talking to the us, the parents, and assumed that was okay, because my daughter expressed interest. I know a handful of people that have had similar situations. Not the best barn we have ever been at.

We have been with Oak Haven for many years. As a parent, I truly appreciate Leslee’s positive teaching style and having students learn by using a hands-on approach. My daughters have learned so much about horsemanship from Leslee over the years. It’s been wonderful to see their confidence and love for the sport grow. Leslee offers students the chance to show, as well. Although showing is not required, it is SO fun and an AWESOME experience! The perfect program for beginner or advanced riders! 💜

My daughter and I love this place. All the trainers have worked so well at helping her develop new skills and foster her love for horses. I would recommend it to anyone. If you are looking for an opportunity to make your kids dreams come true of riding horses, go here. You don’t just learn to ride, you learn to care for and really appreciate these wonderful animals. The staff are all friendly and very knowledgeable. You won’t be disappointed.
