I had my doctor send a prescription for Paxlovid for Covid and the pharmacist refused to fill it without a renal test. Who is going to go get a renal test at a lab when they are sick with Covid!? Meanwhile, my doctor’s office closes and it’s the weekend, so I lost precious time within a 5 day window to take the prescription. I ended up having my doctor send the prescription to Walgreens where they had never heard of the renal test requirement. I’ve had problems getting the correct thyroid meds from them in the past since they refuse to fill the prescription as written by my doctor because they want to push a different product. I’ll never go back to CVS.

Just got barked at by the pharmacist to get up to the desk. Absolutely no reason for that kind of behavior. I had kept checking to see if the window was open but it’s hard to see when the person ahead of you is right up to the counter. It wasn’t that long that I had turned away, and no attempt was made to courteously request that the next person move up. It was startling and triggered my PTSD. Considering that a pharmacy is serving people who are struggling, I would think a more compassionate attitude would prevail.

The staff is friendly but the line is always outrageous and calling into the pharmacy for anything is a nightmare. It will take a minimum of 20-30 minutes to get someone on the phone. I have been on hold for 40 minutes and the call just hangs up. It’s never staffed well enough to handle the demand.

Nice people, but WAY too busy to be worth using them. It can take a week for them to fill a prescription. Ive had them incorrectly fill 3 prescriptions now and so I have to check carefully each time. I spent 20 minutes on hold the other day and never got to talk to a person. If my prescription insurance allowed me to use any other pharmacy I would do so.
