The absolute BEST homemade breakfast you'll find in Albuquerque! All the servers are warm and friendly. We literally won't even eat breakfast anywhere else, unless they are closed. They close early folks! So get there before 10. Totally worth it.. amazing food!

Love the diner for a good economical. Breakfast. Negative that can't be controlled. The seedy TEWE motel across the street and the street litter in the neighborhood Via homeless epidemic surrounding the neighborhood, makes for a slight discomfort toward safety. Yet not wanting not to go, I go because it is a LOCAL diner! Too bad that gone are the days of a .75 cent breakfast! FYI: 80 years old, USAF retired.

Kap's Coffee Shop & Diner has served the Albuquerque area since 1968. They currently occupy a 1950's Denny's boomerang prototype on Route 66. The diner has the best local menu in town. Family owned and operated for generations, you'll experience top-notch service and food made with a passion for excellence. Add Kap's to your itinerary, and you won't be disappointed.

Best chips and salsa. Good green Chile stew and white gravy. The service was great also.

We are open for dine in 7am - 2pm :)
No, they serve imitation syrup. Very few restaurants around here serve the real syrup which is a shame. I too am originally from the Northeast and prefer real over imitation.
The only ones that wear hats are the ones in the kitchen.
