Great option when you need urgent remediation. I've had to use them in two different situations regarding water damage. First time through an insurance company and second-time direct. There is an opportunity to improve when working with clients that pay directly, as it seems to be harder for them to provide estimates and communicate those price points that you are much more sensitive to when paying out of pocket. Both times they were able to arrive within 5 hours of the damage and begin to work on the cleanup.

After a fire at my place of work, SERVPRO came in and partnered with us to make it safe for myself and my coworkers to be in the building and returning the building to better than previous condition. The cleaning was done so well, it looked better than before the fire. We still have customers coming in 7 months later commenting on how our workshop is the cleanest they have seen! Thanks!

They did come and clean up the flood damage quickly which is why I left an additional star - but they also blackmailed us when they found a small leak in a pipe in the wall (unrelated to damage). They said if we didn't pay 400 and let them fix the damage (there was none from it) they would tell the insurance that was the cause of the water damage and we would be stuck paying for the work that was done. They DID falsify this information to the insurance company when we declined the additional service! Seriously, blackmail?! Beware, they work on commission! Watch out for the short guy with a grizzly beard.
