This was such a cool place to visit. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I brought my elderly mom & Aunt only to discover the majority of the collection is upstairs and there's no elevator. One member occupied them while I ran up to view the upstairs with another staffer. I learned a great deal. My favorite was the silver collection...it is the silver city after all. There is no charge, but a donation is greatly appreciated. Check it out.

Our museum is on 2 floor and includes hundreds of objects. We have portraits, furniture, and a temporary exhibition space on the first floor. On the second floor are galleries covering the Taunton region's settlement, immigration, industrial, transportation, fashion, military, and social history. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, and offers events (now mostly virtual) year round. We hope to welcome you for a visit sometime!
