The local pet stores offer vaccination programs on certain days/months, but for an examination you'd have to go to a veterinary practice.

How is he with other animals?

Is it temporarily until you are better or is it permanently. If they have room they will let you board at a very reasonable rate of around $5 a day, especially if it means the difference between you surrendering the dog and being able to keep the dog. Of course this is all subject to change at any time by the facility management.

I don't work there. Last time I was there they accepted volunteers. They had a lot of people on Sat and teens during the week to help play with the dogs and take them for walks. That is a big thing. Exercising the dogs. The big dogs love long walks or to run. There is plenty of laundry too lol The best way to find out is to call or go and ask. It's a great place. Good luck.

It's quite a simple and painless process. I went in and found the cat I wanted to adopt and filled out a brief form. She had to be spayed so i picked her up the next week. A lot better than other places I've tried to deal with.
