I came to Half Axe on a Friday night, spur of the moment decision. I've never been axe throwing before but I felt so comfortable working with Nora, they're excellent!! I had such a blast here, I loved the space and got the 1 on 1 training on how to throw a good shot. I'll have to come back to work on my technique. Thanks! :D

Throwing axes is just plain fun. The experience was very short (about 20 minutes per person) - our group had four people. I called in advance to ensure I could buy more time, upon arrival I was told I could not purchase more time due to staffing issues. You are monitored the entire time to ensure safety, which seemed a bit much. All in all good time. I did call ahead and tried to pre buy more time.

We went for my husband’s birthday! It was great! Most of us have never thrown an ax. The instructors Nora and Andi were awesome and explained everything well. They also continued to give helpful tips along the way. Some of us may have been terrible at the beginning but by the end we were all hitting the target! I actually got a bullseye on my last throw! Definitely recommend it!

Wow! What an amazing time! We started a Bachelorette/Bachelor party at Half Axe and it was a fun night to remember! The staff is amazing and Nora was such a great teacher. Their teaching had me (the most uncoordinated person in the world) getting that target. We had to adjust our booking at one point and Amy and Derek were so accommodating and helpful - making sure we were all set! We all will definitely be coming back and I hope that you go to Half Axe and have the best time! Also we had some friends just watching and they still had a BLAST! The bar also has a great selection!
