They have spaces for glamping and regular tents. The bathrooms were kind of horrendous at the camp grounds but the camping spaces are clean and the walkways are clear. Very gorgeous scenery, multiple lakes and trail heads nearby. We hiked up to lost lake and it was very pleasant. There's also a day use area with spaces to sit and cookout.

Nice little campground, beautiful surrounded by colorful trees during fall. The campground host (i think his name was Chuck) was very kind and gave us some handy hints for the area around Grand Mesa. Perfect as a starting point for hikings through the beautiful nature of colorado. We stayed by tent and the sites were really clean and leveled. The restrooms were clean. No showers available. And of course: it's bear country, so be aware :-)

A great campground, easy to get to. Upper toilets were stinking to high heavens and full of flies when we were there in late Sept 2018. I doubt that's a consistent problem.

The camp host has the hose bib and key . Made filling easy. Just stayed 6 days there with wife and 2 little kids. Plenty of water available.
Yes, weekends will sell out, fall colors are very popular and without reservations I suggest getting up there early as early as possible on Friday
Yes. Jumbo campground is open for first come first serve. Reservations dont start until June 26th in that campground that's why its showing unavailable on recreation.gov. You can call 928-537-8888 for more information. Unlike the reservation company, we are answering calls. We are the concessionaire that manages that campground.

Jumbo and the day use area area open. Island Lake, Little Bear and Ward Lake are also open.
