Great store, great people. Steve is the best - Once located near Big-Y in Longmeadow. It’s been run by the same family for years. Dad has left us now but his son Ken continues with the same great service. I’ve been coming here for 40 years. No need to go anywhere else.

Great local business, would much rather come here than Home Depot any day. I love having Carr right down the street from me. They obviously don't have the sheer quantity of Home Depot, but you'd be surprised at how much is here, ranging from a lot of basic consumer stuff to more specialized DIY stuff, including bulk/pick your own hardware. You probably could have guessed that the prices are generally a tad higher than Home Depot, but the experience is so much better. Much easier to find things (in a much shorter period of time) and all the employees are great and super willing to help. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

This store is wonderful. The employees are helpful, it's neat, nicely located and I have found things that I could not find in other stores...such as a 15W light bulb, and salt for the driveway, when several other places were sold out during a very bad December a few years ago.

Great, friendly staff who actually GREET you and are glad you are there. I'll go in for 1 thing and spend time poking around to see what else they have and end up buying more stuff! 😁 No comparison to Home Depot. Much nicer, clean, and quality items. Nice local old fashioned hardware store.
