This is a great location to stay with kids lots of water activities. 1 Water slide kids pool 3 feet deep adult pool separate from the kids Basketball court golf playground ping pong and many more kids activities $15 valet parking per night . Resorts fee . Pool & water slides open 8am-6pm . Buffet breakfast available, not a lot of options available basic eggs cereal fruits potatoes bacon. As you arrive the valet people are super nice and helpful ( thanks Gerald and Margot) The front desk ladies are super nice . ROOM: super small room with 2 full beds It’s worth uploading to the kids bed suite for a very spacious room with nice lakes view. Near by ( 5 min drive) a small village with restaurants. Or drive to the city 15 minutes for lots of shops and food options. 35 minutes from the Las Vegas strip .

We have stayed at the Westin Lake Las Vegas twice. The property is beautiful and pool and surrounding area breathtaking. Pricing is very reasonable and it is so close to Las Vegas, however, away from the hustle and bustle. The reason for the three rating is our most recent stay. Staff was super friendly and all was enjoyable. The reason for my three rating a cabana charge we were not told about in advance and the oh so difficult process about getting it resolved. It was simply unbelievable. We called two months in advance to book a cabana, asking about a charge for it we were told free - Showing up after TWO hours into the day, we get a bill for $250. Talking to the front desk supervisor at end of the day, she was absolutely horrible to deal with. She could do nothing to help and refused to provide their general managers contact info, only the assistant email. Days later, I got it squared away and they said it would be refunded... Two months later and it has not been. Horrible experience with personnel, however, very beautiful resort.

June Wedding at The Lake. My husband and I have had our eye on The Westin for over a year to host our wedding, and this June our dreams became a reality. Our wedding was AMAZING and went on without a hitch or hiccup. Adriana is AMAZING, Lynn is AMAZING, Paula is, as you guessed, AMAZING. Our guests had a wonderful time, the chef, bartender, catering, and staff all went above and beyond to make sure our stay was one to remember. I also love the fact that the hotel is dog friendly! If you are looking to host a wedding away from the city with a great backdrop then look no further. Thank you to everyone that helped us get started including Carol, Andrea, and Rick!

Rooms outdated and need attention. The first room I got had a toilet that was backed up and could not be cleared, was given a new room the next day and this had a coffee maker that did not work. If you want to eat, be prepared to pay for low quality food. The view was very nice but the hotel rooms seemed old and in need of updating. A better coffee area would be good or supply actual coffee in the rooms and not just decaf, and even a small store where we can purchase food items at all times during the day with out having to travel 10 miles into town to shop.

Not to my knowledge insofar as grills outside by the pool, however! They do have beautiful firepits in the evening outside the main lobby and quite atmospheric, you feel like you are in Hawaii!
